This is a full-time position for 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

In the Service Operations Centre (SOC) you’ll support IT services for Government departments in the UK and around the globe.

You’ll bring your technical expertise to deploy and maintain systems that help protect national security at home and overseas. You may not know all of the details yet, but you soon will.

No two days will be the same, one day you could be helping to create the next desktop image to be rolled out across our user estate, the next you could be troubleshooting an incident affecting one of our business-critical systems.

More About You

You’ll already have:

• Proven experience working with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and VDI technologies
• Experience deploying and supporting Windows 10 and Server OS
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Forests and Group Policy
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system faults

To strengthen your application, it would be beneficial if you have one or more of the following skills or experience in (but these are not essential):

• Citrix Provisioning Services and Netscaler (ADC)
• Cloud Technologies
• Scripting/automation technologies

Putting your skills to use
 
Using your expertise as part of our team you will:

• Be involved in the building, testing and implementation of significant system enhancements
• Assisting with the investigation of large-scale system problems
• Proactively identifying system performance optimisation opportunities
• Reviewing, revising and creating low-level design documentation
• Liaising with customers and other support organisations in a clear and professional manner
