HMGCC's IT Service Operations Centre has been incredibly successful 'insourcing' Government IT, leading to growth and service expansion. We now have a great opportunity for an experienced systems engineer, system administrator or DevOps engineer to support this.

We provide secure IT shared services to a large number of Government departments, bringing great cost efficiency, but also agility, quality and cyber security. Technical Skills

We would need you to already have:

• Experience working with MS Windows Server 2012
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory administration and security
• Proven practical development experience with PowerShell
• Familiarity with MS Exchange 2010/13/16
• Experience working with MS SQL 2008/12
• Knowledge of different print solutions
• Application lifecycle support experience (development, integration, support)
• An understanding of Virtualization
• Familiarity of Citrix
• An understanding of llS

To strengthen your application, it would be desirable if you have:

• ITIL process familiarisation
• Familiarity of Multi-tenant solutions
• Experience with Skype for Business
• Experience with Mail Marshall
• System or application design experience
• An understanding of PKI
• Understanding of requirements management and system testing
• Network services understanding (e.g. forward/reverse proxy servers, DNS)
• Security technology understanding (e.g. PKI, OpenSSL, HTIPS, keys/certificates)

• Liaise with customers and other organisations in a clear and professional manner
