HMGCC has an exciting opportunity for a Wellbeing Advisor to join our internal HR team, supporting the team to deliver an efficient wellbeing service across the business.

You will be responsible for delivering effective employee wellbeing programme which promotes a healthy lifestyle and co-ordinate and facilitate occupational health services to employees.


Technical Skills

We would need you to already have:

• Strong customer service background
• Experience of working in a busy administration environment
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Strong attention to detail
• Worked in a busy wellbeing role
• Willingness to travel to key sites as required

To strengthen your application, it would be desirable if you have:

• Professional HR qualification or willingness to achieve one
• Experience of working in a busy HR environment
• Experience with an ORACLE based system
• Knowledge of Health & Safety


Personal Skills

To work as a Wellbeing Advisor, you will be the type of person who:

1. Deal with a broad range of highly sensitive welfare, health and wellbeing issues and provide head of HR and Employee Relations team with an overview
2. Facilitate discussions with employees and managers who have welfare issues and sign post them to the relevant support
3. Build and sustain relationship with key individuals


Putting Your Skills To Use

Using your expertise as part of our team you will:

• Co-ordinate flu vaccinations
• Manage, promote and co-ordinate and on-going campaign to raise awareness of health and wellbeing initiatives
• Co-ordinate visits from the Financial Counsellor
• Co-ordinates medical clearances and travel
• Co-ordinate and manage health surveillance programme, liaising with managers and occupational health
• Provide Admin support for Occupational Health Nurse
• Monthly updates of clearances inputted in to ORACLE
• Provide general support to HR Advisers, e.g. minute taking for case work

You will play an integral part in ensuring that our Government's communication systems in the UK and around the globe are reliable and totally secure.
