HMGCC has an exciting opportunity for two-part time HR Administrators to join our busy HR team. Working between 15-20 hours a week these roles will support the wider team with generalist administration, review of policy and procedure and answering queries from employees. These roles would suit someone with strong transferable skills around administration and customer service, or someone with existing HR Administration knowledge.

You will be someone who enjoys providing consistently good advice and support, and who provides the level of service you would expect if in the same position yourself. We are a busy team within a consistently changing and adapting organisation, so the ability to think creativity and enjoy the opportunity to improve and change is key.

Technical Skills

We would need you to already have:

• Experience of working in a busy office environment
• Ability to process information at a high level of accuracy (to be assessed by in-tray exercise)
• Strong customer service skills

To strengthen your application, it would be desirable if you have:

• Experience of working with sensitive personal information
• Experience of working within an HR team or function

Putting Your Skills To Use

Using your expertise as part of our team you will:

• Provide guidance in response to employee queries (face to face, in writing and over the phone) in an efficient and effective manners, escalating for guidance when necessary
• Ensure that appropriate staff records are kept, analysed and fed into business reporting
• Review and update policy and procedure to ensure the most efficient use of HR team resource
• Provide administrative support to the wider HR team including recruitment, learning and development and HR Business Partners
• Support the line managers and employees across the organisation in achieving the mission and vision of the organisation
