£33,499 to £35,817 Plus up to a £5,000 welcome package*
HMGCC has an exciting opportunity for an electronics test professional with the right motivation to join our test team.

We are looking for new team members with EMC and/or environmental test engineering experience to work in our EMC & Environmental test laboratories.

You will be working in a team that gives you the opportunity and support to develop your skills and knowledge of a range of electronic disciplines, product verification and test standards, enabling you to progress.

Technical Skills

We would need you to already have the ability to:

• Undertake unsupervised EMC and/or Environmental testing
• Use and configure automated test systems
• Define functional test plans to confirm correct and continued function of products
• Accurately record and report test findings
• Interpret results for legislative compliance
• Calibrate EMC and/or environmental test facilities

The following are desirable and would strengthen your application:

• Configuration of automated EMC test software such as EMC32
• Experience of EMC and/or environmental test system checking
• Experience of guiding on compliance legislation including 'CE' and 'e' marking
• Experience of advising customers on test scope and results interpretation
• Experience in supporting and developing less experienced staff

• Write detailed test reports for a range of customers

• Undertake test facilities calibration
